I have been using a Band saw but now I need more intricate Cut . What I want to know is what would be the best scroll saw for me to buy so that after 6 months I am wishing I bought a different one ???

I’ve been happy with my Dewalt 20″. Prior to that I had a delta and the reduction in vibration with the Dewalt was very noticeable. Home Depot will ship you one for about $450 +tax. Not cheap but it is a workhorse.

My first Scroll Saw was a Ryobi which I outgrew within a month. I was able to find my first Dewalt 788 on E-Bay for $250 it required a little TLC because of rust.and blower hose missing. The prices have definitely gone up since 1999. You need to ask yourself about budget and how much use it will get. Watch some You-tube videos of people using the saw. Steve Good, Steve Carmichael https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aniQaBog4A. and Hans Meier are great teachers.
