      I want to cut an angled notch on a piece of wood. Is it safe to put full kerf blade on a miter saw?

      I believe those saws come with a regular kerf blade (not a thin kerf). I would hesitate to use that type of saw for cutting a notch though as it seems you would have little control of width and depth. A hand saw might be a better choice.

      Or a table saw sled.
